Option 1 response:
A place that influences me alot is Hylands Ski and Snowboard Area. In the winter this is where I spend most of my time outside of school. It influences me to stay away from drugs and alcohol. Also it challanges me to try new things. When I'm snowboarding I forget about all of lifes stresses and its my way of relaxing and having fun. Hylands is my life.

Option 3 response:
I have a friend who frustrates me alot. He is making alot of the wrong choices and getting into hardcore drugs like meth, crack, heroin, acid, 2CB, 2CE, 2CI, GHB, and other various prescription drugs. I have tried many times to talk him out of making all of these bad desicions but he just wont listen. He needs to learn to be excepted for who he is and drugs dont make him look cool. He is ruining his life, and it needs to stop.

Assignment 2

1. In the selection called "Peer Pressure" George states that "friends have more influence on one another's lives than almost anyone else does, especially in those teenage years when kids are trying to discover who they really are. So hooking up with the wrong crowd can really get you down."Do you agree with his comments? Why or why not? Have you seen other people try to pressure their friends to do things? (Good or bad) Have you felt pressure to behave in certain ways because of your friends?

I agree with this statement because friends are the biggest influence in your life. They are who you follow and lead, you care more about what they think than anyone else. Hooking up with the wrong crowd is very easy to do and so easy to get caught up in, I've been there many times at parties where my friends are drinking and i sometimes follow them.
